Now if you're anything like me and are a constant Halloween procrastinator than this is the article that you should be tuning into. It happens EVERY single year! You feel like this is your year to shine during Halloween and every minute that goes by your thinking about how to piece that perfect costume together except you never really take the first step in buying any necessary items. Before you know it Halloween is right around the corner and your perfect idea is no longer an option. No need to fear this year because this article is designed to help you solve that problem. Last minute costume inspo is never a bad thing to take a look at and who knows you might like what I have to offer, besides I assure that they will all be Insta picture worthy.

The first few options are for those who are into doing any facial makeup and would prefer a basic outfit:

1.SKELETON

First things first, let's get the skeleton out of the way. Skeleton makeup/ costume is one of the popular options every Halloween year because of how unique everyone's interpretation ends up being. Makeup wise, the skeleton can be presented in many ways. It can be a full face makeup look, half face (either horizontal or vertical), a more toned and structured look, or even just a hand design(which is what I did last year). It's all up to you, you choose what best suits you and own it. The makeup can easily be paired with an all black outfit, black leggings or jeans, black long sleeve or crop top (if you want to make it feel sexy than pair it with a cute lace up body suit) black booties, and you can't forget the leather jacket because we all know how cold it can get out there whether your asking for candy or looking for a party to go to. If your feeling a little more artistic and have a little more time to DIY, you can use a black long sleeve along with white paint to create the skeletal structure and make your outfit stand out even more.

2.COMIC BOOK CHARACTER

This next look is a lot simpler than the skeleton but still involves a little bit of face paint. This is the perfect costume for comic book/ super hero lovers and it's one that will catch the attention of many. To get the dots as perfect circles you can use the eraser end of a pencil and use a black eye liner to outline some features to make them pop. This can also be paired up with an all black outfit, personally I would try to find a cute black dress but if you're not a dress person then pants and shirt work just fine. Get everyone to turn their heads and be the center of attention wherever you go with this quick and easy makeup look.

3.SCARE CROW

Now you might be thinking a scare crow? Is that even cute? And the answer to that is HELL YES! A scare crow costume might be just what you need this holiday season and I bet you'll get really excited when I tell you how simple it is to put together. This fall plaid has been in and I'm sure somewhere in your closet you have a plaid shirt hanging around that will be extremely useful for this costume. Pair that with a pair of jean overalls and some boots and you're 75% done with the costume. Next just paint some red or orange circles on your cheeks and nose. Finally place some black lines (stitching design) at the corners of your lips and you're all set to scare away those creepy birds that may try to come near you.

The next few last minute costume DIY's don't require any makeup skills and if you're feeling like you want to look a little sexier than usual than these might be the costumes for you:

4. TOM CRUISE IN RISKY BUSINESS

This first option is a classic from the 1983 movie Risky Business starring Tom Cruise and it's part of one of the most iconic scenes in the film where Tom dances around in nothing but a long sleeve button down, white underwear, and white ankle socks. Yep, that's how simple this outfit is but of course I've added my own little twist to it. If you want it to be a little more scandalous, then pair the men's over size button down shirt with a lace body suit underneath and some small compression shorts, along with some lace ankle socks and boom you've upgraded from looking like a regular Tom Cruise to a hot and spicy one in no time. This is one of my all time favorites and it's super super easy for those very last minute moments before a Halloween gathering.

5. SCHOOL GIRL/ CHER FROM CLUELESS

This next outfit should also be easy to replicate due to the tremendous burst in plaid this fall season. Cher from Clueless is an icon to live by when it comes to plaid and dressing up for school. Her outfit is one that many people have been recreating all season long so why not do it on Halloween night as well. The bright yellow combination with a white undershirt and white thigh socks is one that makes the boys go mad and is a perfect last minute Halloween costume. If you don't own any bright yellow plaid and can't come in contact with your inner Cher, have no fear because other colored plaid is here to save the day. Pair any other colored plaid skirt with a white button down top and white thigh high socks and boom you've become the hottest school girl out there.

I know some of you may also be looking for couple costume ideas so below I have added and option that you and your partner can pull of in a matter of seconds:

6.WHERE'S WALDO?

Although this outfit may seem boring and corny, I think it's one of the cutest costumes ever for a couple. Wearing a matching red and white striped shirt/ hat with your boo thang ain't that bad and you'll believe me when I say its extremely simple to put together. If you don't own a striped shirt, you can easily pick one up at the following locations to get your outfit going: Forever 21, Walmart, Old Navy, ASOS,etc. You and you're partner can choose to take on the classic look but also feel free to put your own spin on it and modernize it however you please.

Now that you've gone through all the options you have and realize you have a week to get your ish together, you think you can mange to pull it off? Well if you do feel free to tag us in your posts on IG @mariaxnayely and we'll be so happy to look through them to see who managed to get it together last minute this holiday season. That's all folks, until next week!

Lots of spooky love,
